The PC and footage that the video was made from used a 1.8hz Pentium 3 with an old 64mb Ge Force 2 Graphics Card (Ti 1440) and only 640 Ram with sliders set to medium. The video was taken on a low spec machine to show users that Ariane are as concerned for the low end user as they are for the high end. "We saw no point in showing a video on a MAX Spec. machine, thus exlcuding a very important part of the market. The next video will show what a high end 3.06 P4 with a 128 medium weight card can achieve with all sliders to MAX. We are clocking 33 fps to 60 + fps as well as running VFR Scenery and VFR Terrain - approaches at busy airports like Chicago O'Hare are also in the 30+ fps league. Although the speed will bring a smile to everyone's face, we added some new options for users to add another 6-8 fps at the flick of a mouse button" said Ariane's lead tester.
