Dear members,
We are aware that IvAp its weather isn't perfect and contains alot of issue, however we want to do all that is possible to improve it and make it better for you guys.
All information in helping finding the issues can help here, so please read this topic very carefully.
Wind Changes
Some people report very quick wind changes at some altitudes. To help detecting these problems, please do the following:
* turn on IvAp debug logging and FSUIPC weather logging
* whenever a quick change happens note the following details:
----> your exact location
----> a description of what happens (exact conditions, what changed to which speeds, which directions,...)
----> a list of nearby weather stations (in a range of +/- 10 nM) and record the METAR report of these stations
----> the time when it happend (UTC+Local)
* Send these details together with IvAp + FSUIPC logfiles to my address and report here with a short description of your issue.
* Try to find patterns in the issue (e.g. it always happens in area XXX)
Others
If you have other issues with weather, please report giving as much information as possible.
If you think that at some point the weather isn't realistic enough (keep in mind that MSFS doesn't have a perfect weather engine and cannot simulate everything), please tell us what you think is wrong and provide pointers to descriptions of the weather effect (internet links).
